MSDC PD Academy Cohort 2

MSDC is pleased to announce a second MSDC PD Academy Cohort beginning March 20, 2007. The brochure and application page are now available. Applications are due no later than March 7, 2007. The PD Academy is designed for district level PD Chairs and Committee members and will focus on:

• Advancing the understanding of the critical connection between professional learning and student learning.
• Developing the leadership, planning, implementation , and facilitation skills necessary to support school-focused staff development.
• Learning relevant information to more thoroughly develop learning communities that increase teachers’ abilities for action research/increase knowledge and ability to provide coaching to others.
